Art Appreciation meets monthly, either with a visit to an art exhibition or at home, usually to view a DVD and discuss the content. The re-opened Cheltenham Museum and Art Gallery, now known as The Wilson, has provided a rich resource and we have also visited Compton Verney. The group's members claim no special expertise in art appreciation; we simply want to enjoy art and broaden our experience of it. Some of the members are practising amateur artists, however, which helps in discussions.
